Call to educate youths on honesty to prevent corruption

RANGPUR, July 30 (BSS): Speakers at an anti-corruption coordination meeting with the students have stressed for educating and inspiring young students with honesty, good moral character and patriotism in building a corruption-free society.
They stressed for creating anti-corruption sentiment among the school students for changing their behaviour in building a corruption free society to accelerate uplift and make the independence meaningful for every citizen.
The District Corruption Prevention Committee (DCPC) organised the meeting on Wednesday afternoon at RCCI Public School & College auditorium with members of the Integrity Unit, its Advisory Council Members and teachers of the institution.
The District Combined Office of the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) and RDRS Bangladesh under the Justice Reform and Corruption Prevention (JRCP) Project extended cooperation in organising the meeting.
The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs has been implementing the JRCP Project through GO-NGO collaboration under financial assistance of the German Development Cooperation.
With President of DCPC Professor Mozammel Hossain in the chair, Deputy Director of Rangpur District Combined Office of the ACC Kamrul Ahsan attended the coordination meeting as chief guest.
District Manager of JRCP Project Ershad Md Rasel discussed on the anti-corruption activities conducted last year and draft annual action plan on anti-corruption activities to be conducted by the Integrity Unit in the institution this year.
Upazila Manager of the JRCP Project of RDRS Bangladesh Tahmina Akhter and its Filed Facilitator Azim Ali coordinated the meeting.
