Speakers demanded immediate measures to enact law for protection and security of the country's domestic workers.
The speakers made their demands at a press conference organised by the Domestic Workers' Rights Network at the Dhaka Reporters' Unity auditorium in the city Saturday, said a press release.
SKOP Coordinator Wajedul Islam Khan delivered his speech on behalf of the network in the press conference.
Also present on the occasion were BILS Secretary General Nazrul Islam Khan, BNWLA Executive Director Salma Ali, BLAST Deputy Director Farida Yasmin, Executive Director of Karmajibi Nari Rokeya Rafique Baby and Coordinator of the Network Syed Sultan Uddin Ahmed.
