Call to maintain steep growth of country’s apparel sector

Former president of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) Annisul Huq urged all concerned to work together for maintaining the steep growth of the country's apparel export.
He was speaking at an Iftar party hosted by the Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA) at a city hotel Sunday. The BGBA hosted the party on the occasion of its first anniversary programme.
Former BGMEA chief Annisul Huq said owners of the garment units should be more alert and united for the growth of the garment sector in the country.
BGBA President Qayum Reza Chowdhury, its Secretary General SA Nasir, BGMEA Vice-President Abdus Salam, leaders of the FBCCI Raghib Hasan Munna, Zahid Hossain and Shahid Hawladar, among others, attended the party.
