Call to protect Waiz House from land grabbers

Environment and cultural activists including the Paribesh Bachao Andolon (PABA) and Bulbul Academy of Fine Arts (BAFA) Saturday jointly organised a human chain for protecting all traditional and historic establishments across the country including the Waiz House in the capital from the land grabbers, reports BSS.
The programme was held in front of the Jatiya Press Club in the city with participation of several hundred people including students and professionals.
Chairman of PABA Abu Naser Khan, President of BAFA Shamsuzzahan Noor, BAFA General Secretary Sadullah, Vice-President M Momrez Hossain Raza Mia, columnist Syed Abul Maksud and journalist Sadrul Anam, among others, participated in the human chain.
