Call to vote for Sundarbans

Bangladesh's image will be further brightened in the international arena if the Sundarbans, the world heritage site, is elected one of the world's seven nature wonders, chief conservator of forests Ishtiakuddin Ahmed said this Saturday, reports BSS. "Besides, it would promote the country's tourism industry to a greater extent....so, it is our civic responsibility to vote for the Sundarbans," he told the inaugural function of the three-day voting programme in favour of the Sundarbans. Bangladesh University (BU) arranged the programme to encourage the students as well as the people to cast vote for the Sundarbans in the world seven nature wonders competition.
