Campaign for voter list begins in Joypurhat, Moulavibazar

JOYPURHAT, Oct 26 (BSS): The preparation of voter list with photograph and national ID card began here at all 90 wards under Joypurhat Pourasabha and Sadar Upazila areas, district election office (DEO) sources said.
The sources said on the inaugural day of the voter list process, a procession was brought out in the town yesterday to motivate voters for registration.
Meanwhile, the enrolment of voters to prepare an electoral roll with photograph and national identity (ID) card in Sadar Upazila in Moulavibazar will begin on October 30, Commander of the district joint forces Lieutenant Colonel Zahid Hasan said at a coordination committee meeting held at the conference room of the deputy commissioner's office Thursday.
