The latest double jet printer of Canon Pixma iP 1880 has arrived in Bangladesh after, what Canon said, winning the satisfaction of its clients some Asian countries including India, Indonesia and Malaysia.
JAN Associates Ltd, sole distributor of Canon for Bangladesh, launched the product after a two-day orientation programme here last week and expressed hope that the Canon new printer will equally win the mind of its clients here for its features like brilliant print, high quality photos, cheaper in price etc. The orientation was organized to make the Canon dealers acquaintance with PIXMA iP 1880.
While launching it, Abdullah H Kafi, managing director of JAN Associates Ltd, said PIXMA iP 1880 was launched worldwide in last July and its sale in Malaysia alone has been doubled in compare to its previous version.
He said sleek black exterior of Canon's new printer features the innovation arch-line design defining its elegance for using at home, office and any other environment.
With Canon patented Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering, the clients of its latest printer will now enjoy 2 pico-litres and resolution as high as 4800 dots per inch. It features more nozzles with greater speed printing of 4"x6borderless photo in 70 seconds.
Canon's pigment black ink makes text darker, sharper and easier to read and its professional quality documents is incredibly fast - 20 pages per minute (PPM) for monochrome and 16 PPM with colour, the MD said.
Canon began with iP1000 has changed the bubble jet printer market comprehensively with new dimensions and outstanding performance and PIXMA iP 1880 will replace iP1700.
