CAPACITY-BUILDING PROGRAMME FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS
BRAC Bank and SME Foundation recently held a three-day capacity-building programme, 'Amrai TARA,' for women-led small and medium enterprises (WSMEs) in Rajshahi. Some 32 promising WSMEs participated in the event. Supported by the Gates Foundation, the programme focused on advancing women's entrepreneurship and financial inclusion in the region. On the final day, Khadija Mariam, Head of the Women Entrepreneur Cell, Khaled Ali from Agent Banking, and Amir Hamza, Territory Manager of SME Banking at BRAC Bank, conducted a half-day session on banking literacy and financial inclusion. The event concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony.
