Capstone Course 2026/1 ends at NDC

The Capstone Course 2026/1, an intensive three-week strategic leadership programme, concluded on Thursday at the National Defense College (NDC), Mirpur Cantonment.
Bangladesh Army Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman graced the closing ceremony as the chief guest and distributed certificates among the capstone fellows, according to a press release.
A total of 45 fellows, including parliamentarians, senior military and police officers, eminent academics, senior doctors, senior representatives of government and non-governmental organisations, diplomats, and corporate leaders, participated in it.

In his address, General Waker-Uz-Zaman urged all fellows to uphold constitutional responsibilities, strengthen national security, and pursue the sustainable development of Bangladesh.
Lt Gen Md Faizur Rahman, commandant of NDC, emphasised the importance of informed dialogue and consensus-building on matters of national importance.
The closing ceremony was attended by senior military and civil officials, faculty from NDC, and dignitaries from the Armed Forces and other national institutions.
