Car driver killed in Bogra

A private car driver was stabbed to death by some miscreants at Thanthania in Bogra district town on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Rubel, 26, driver of Dr Emdadul Haque, managing director of Samsunnahar Clinic in the area and son of Asaduzzaman Asad of Thanthania Molla Para. Local people said Rubel had an altercation with an ambulance driver coming here few days back over parking the ambulance. At one stage, Rubel along with his associates beat up the ambulance driver. As a sequel to this, some miscreants, believed to be the hired goons of the ambulance driver, chased Rubel on Wednesday night. On Thursday, the miscreants stabbed Rubel indiscriminately near the clinic, leaving him dead on the spot. On information, police recovered the body and sent it to sadar hospital morgue for an autopsy, according to a news agency.
