Car hijacked, its driver wounded

Carjackers snatched away a private car after stabbing its driver at Mirpur in the capital at the early hours of Tuesday, police said.
Witnesses and police said the incident took place before Harun Eye Foundation Hospital at about 12:30 am when the criminals tactfully stepped into the car and started hacking the driver, Abdul Mannan.
Later, the gang men drove away with the car, leaving the driver critically wounded.
Mannan was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for treatment.
