Cargo ship sinks at Mongla

A cargo vessel carrying raw materials for a factory has sunk at Mongla Port's Pashur Channel after it collided with another ship.  Harbour Master Mohammad Aktaruzzaman said the cargo vessel Hajera-1 sank after it rammed into a ship bearing Panama's flag on its way to Khulna. Eight crew of the vessel swam to the shore. The channel later reopened after the sunken vessel had been located.
