Cargo ship sinks in Meghna

The Dhaka-bound MV Chitalmari carrying 1,300 tonnes of cement clinker sank in the Meghna after being hit by an oil-tanker. No casualties have been reported in the accident that occurred at Harisabha of Chandpur's Puranbazar area around 7:30am Tuesday. — UNB
