Caritas to spend 60m for relief

Caritas has planned to spend Tk 60 million in flood relief through immediate distribution of food, non-food household items and shelters for the flash floods, landslides and flood-affected families of the various districts of the country, said a press release.
Caritas has planned to distribute food amounting to Tk. 4 million for 7,500 flood affected families. Each family will get 10 kg rice, 2 kg dal (pulse), 1 kg salt and 1 litre soybean oil.
