Case against Banskhali UNO

CHITTAGONG, Apr 20: A man has filed a case against SM Nazimuddin, the UNO (Upazila Nirbahi Officer) of Banskhali upazila of the district for allegedly leasing out a local bazar at lower price. Mokhtar Ahmed from Sadhanpur village of Banskhali filed the case in the court of senior assistant judge against the Upazila Nirbahi Officer and his office assistant Nurul Huda. He said that the UNO had leased the Shaheber Hat of Banskhali on March 8 this year at a price much lower than that of last year for which the government has been deprived of revenue. Taking into cognizance the court has fixed date of hearing on April 29 and directed the accused to present themselves in the court in person.
