Case against Barrister Razzaq, wife stayed for month

The High Court (HC) Monday stayed for a month the criminal case facing by Jamaat-e-Islami leader Barrister Abdur Razzaq and his wife Saleha Siddiq, now on bail, reports UNB.
Passing the interim order upon a writ petition, a division bench comprising Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain and Justice Quamrul Islam Siddiqui issued a rule asking the government to explain why the criminal case filed against the petitioners should not be declared to have been made without lawful authority.On March 19, Dewan Abul Hossain, immigration branch police inspector at Zia International Airport (ZIA), filed a regular criminal case with the airport police station against the Razzaq couple.
