Case filed against 12 'rajakars' for killing two FFs

BAGERHAT, June 10 (UNB): Within a span of nine days, another case was recorded Monday against 12 'rajakars' (collaborators) on charge of killing two freedom fighters (FFs) in Morelgonj Uapzila during the Liberation War in 1971.

Ms Amirunnisa, daughter of a freedom fighter of Teligati village in the uapzila, filed the case with the chief judicial magistrate court against Akram Khan and 11 other unknown people on May 25.

As per the court order, Morelgonj thana police recorded the case Monday night.

In her complaint, Ms Amirunnisa said the collaborators had gunned down her father Sekander Ali and another freedom fighter Wahab Ali at Teligati village when they were going to another place by a boat during the liberation war.

Earlier on June 1, a case was filed against 14 collaborators for killing two freedom fighters in Shoronkhola Uapzila in 1971.
