Case filed against BNP leader for war crime in Habiganj

HABIGANJ, Sept 3 (UNB): A case was filed against BNP leader Abul Fazal Thursday on charge of killing a freedom fighter during the Liberation War in 1971.
M Arzu Mia of Jalsukha Madhyapara village under Ajmiriganj Upazila filed the case with the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Sadiqur Rahman.
The court ordered the officer-in-charge of Ajmiriganj Upazila to record the allegation as first information report (FIR) and take action after investigation.
In his case statement, Arzu alleged that the Pakistani occupation forces with the help of the accused killed freedom fighter Jagat Jyuti Das on November 14, 1971.
