CATL will build EV battery plant in Germany

Chinese firm CATL will build a battery factory in Germany to supply the country's auto industry through its transformation toward electric vehicle (EV), high-end manufacturer BMW said, reports AFP.
"We are very pleased that CATL has decided to build a factory for battery cells in Erfurt," capital of Thuringia state in central Germany, BMW said in a statement on Monday.
