Cattle trader beaten to death by BSF

BENAPOLE, July 23 (UNB): A Bangladeshi cattle trader was beaten to death by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at Gatipara frontier village under Sharsha Upazila Monday.
The deceased was identified as Atiar Rahman (35), son of Nur Mohammad of the village.
The victim's family sources said BSF troops of Jointapur camp arrested cattle trader Atiar at dawn when he was returning home purchasing cows from India.
They said at one stage the BSF men beat Atiar mercilessly killing him on the spot and then they took away his body to their camp.
