CBC holds annual staff confce

Commercial Bank of Ceylon (CBC) held Annual Staff Conference 2008 at a city hotel recently, says a press release.
CBC's DGM of Corporate Banking Gamini Dharmasiri and Head of Corporate Banking CM Abeysekara, both from Sri Lanka, were chief guest and special guest respectively on the occasion. The theme of this year's staff conference was 'Serve the savers'.
Country Manager S Prabagar, in his speech, highlighted the customer service standards and spoke on branch performance, branch expansion and SME centers. He also spoke on introduction of new and challenging products and services as well.
The other management members along with the chief guest also spoke
focusing the development in different arena of the bank.
The staff also observed silence for one minute in memory of the army officers and their family members who were killed in BDR Headquarters carnage recently.
