CCC mayor reaffirms vows to give proper services to citizens

CHITTAGONG, May 25 (BSS): The newly-elected Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) AJM Nasir Uddin reaffirmed that he would provide proper services for city dwellers at any cost.
"I seek all kinds of assistance and cooperation from all walks of people in the port city to resolve the issues," he added.
The newly-elected CCC mayor said this while addressing a reception accorded to him by 'The Chittagong Cooperative Housing Society' at a community centre Sunday night.
Nasir said he had already talked to officials concerned about the service oriented issues of CCC and he ordered them to secure proper services for the city dwellers with utmost honesty, sincerity and transparency.
He said he will try to solve those issues on priority basis through discussion with different professional groups after visiting 41 wards of CCC.
Sufi Mizanur Rahman, Chairman of PHP group, presided over the function while social workers MA Nobi and Nizam Uddin, Raozan Upazila Chairman Eshanul Haider Chowdhury Babul, social worker Mohammad Idris and engineer Mohammad Kafil Uddin Yousuf, among others, addressed the function.
