Election Commissioner Mohammad Abdul Mobarak on Thursday said the election to Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) is likely to be arranged in April-May next. “There’s a possibility that the CCC polls will be held before the completion of its five-year tenure due to Ramadan,” he told reporters after visiting the EC’s Chittagong Regional Server Station. The election commissioner said the five-year tenure of the city corporation will complete in June next year as the last election of the CCC was held on June 17, 2010, according to a news agency.
