CCC to allow installation of 5000 billboards

CHITTAGONG, Nov 10 : Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) will accord permission for installing over five thousand billboards and signboards afresh at different places of the port city, CCC sources said.
The task of installing the same is now under process and the CCC has termed it as one of the convenient means for boosting revenue.
However, a section of billboard traders reminded the CCC authority that no organisation would be allowed to set up billboards at risky places through establishing secret contact with the officials assigned with the task.
