CCCI chief urges law enforcers to be vigilant

CHITTAGONG, July 23: President of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) Mahbubul Alam has urged all concerned including the police administration to take necessary steps to control law and order situation and overall security measures on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
In a statement the president of the premier trade body said that the presence and role of the law enforcement agencies in the shopping malls, markets and busy areas in the port city is praiseworthy as they did last year.
The people of Chittagong will also be able to enjoy the Eid festival happily like that of last year with the cooperation of the law enforcers, he said.
