CCCI organises training on Basic PC, Internet

CHITTAGONG, Sept 19: A four-month long computer training on 'Basic PC and Internet', jointly organised by the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and South Asia Enterprise Development Facility (SEDF) Knowledge Centre in the port city, concluded Monday.
CCCI President Saifuzzaman Chowdhury attended the concluding function of the training course and distributed certificates among the participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Saifuzzaman Chowdhury said: "We are now living in the age of Information Technology (IT). Now use of computer has become inevitable for all sectors including education, trade and commerce. So training of computer has become essential for all.''
He stressed the need for organising necessary training on contemporary IT.
The CCCI president said the Chittagong Chamber, in collaboration with different donor agencies including the World Bank, has chalked out various programmes for the country's entrepreneurs.
In this connection, he sought co-operation from all segments of the society.
CCCI Senior Vice-president MA Latif delivered the address of welcome at the function while SEDF Knowledge Management Analyst Adeeba Mehnaz Ahmad also spoke on the occasion.
