CCS earn promotion to Premier cricket League

Cricket Coaching School (CCS) earned promotion to the Premier Division Cricket League from next season after beating Magnum Cricketers by 19 runs in their last match of the First Division Cricket League at the Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah Sunday, reports UNB.
On completion of the super league, both the teams earned promotion to play in the prestigious Metropolis Premier Division Cricket League as the two top teams of the metropolis first division cricket league, both securing 28 points from 16 encounters with 14 wins and two losses.
In the day's other matches, another contenders Rapid Foundation (108/3 in 23.3 overs) defeated Khelaghar SKS (105/10 in 19.3 overs) by seven wickets at the City Club ground in Mirpur.
Baridhara Dazzlers (218/5 in 45.5 overs) beat Bangladesh Boys (214/10 in 47 overs) by five wickets at the BKSP ground -2 in Savar while City Club (157/5 in 33.3 overs) beat Surjo Tarun Club (155/10 in 42.1 overs) by five wickets at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Sent into bat first in the day's vital match at Fatullah, CCS scored moderate 216 for 7 in a curtailed 43 over-a-side-match with one down Saif Hasan contributing the match highest 62 runs off 95 balls that featured five fours and a six.
Besides, Munim Shahriar (36), Pinak Ghosh (29) and Saifuddin (29) were the other leading scorer for CCS.
Manwar Hossain and Afsarul Diner took two wickets each conceding 38 and 39 runs respectively.
Chasing 217 for win, league leaders Magnum Cricketers were all out for 197 in 40 overs with Mosaddek Iftekhar making 49, Imran Hossain 47 and Ashiquzzaman 35 runs.
Ali Ahmed grabbed four wickets for 39 runs, Nazmus Sadat picked up three wickets for 35 runs and Saifuddin took two for 39 runs.
