CDA members appointed for 3 years

CHITTAGONG, May 11: The government has appointed four members in the Chittagong Development Authority (CDA) board for the next three years.
Two members from the previous board have been re-appointed while two others are new.
A circular issued on May 4 said the newly appointed members are AMM Tipu Sultan, president of Juba League Chittagong South district unit and Md Jashim Uddin, joint general secretary of Awami League (AL) Chittagong North district unit.
The re-elected members are Mahtab Uddin Chowdhury, vice president of AL Chittagong City unit and Yunus Gani Chowdhury, joint general secretary of AL Chittagong South district unit.
CDA chairman Abdus Salam said he had heard about appointment of the CDA members but the circular of the same is yet to reach him.
