CDBL glitch hits settlement of transactions

Brokerage houses and merchant banks could not settle their transactions for share trading for more than 6 hours from around 3:0pm on Thursday following a technical glitch in the CDBL (Central Depository Bangaldesh Limited) server, a senior CDBL official said, adding the problem in the CDBL server was fixed at around 9:15 pm on the day.
