CDMP distributes relief goods

Comprehensive Disaster Management Programme (CDMP), under the Ministry of Food and Disaster Management, distributed relief packets among 700 families of Sylhet and Sunamganj districts.
Each packet contains 5 kgs of flattened rice, 1 kg of molasses, 5 packets of ORS, 20 WPT tablets, 1 mosquito net, 2 carbolic soaps, 2 laundry soaps, 1 piece of sharee, a lungi and a towel, 6 pieces of candles and a safety match box.
This emergency programme has been implementing through the partner NGOs such as Centre for Natural Resource Studies, Institute of Development Affairs and Institute of Environment and Development in collaboration with the local administration.
