CFA Society recognises top employers

CFA Society Bangladesh, the local member society of CFA Institute, hosted an event in Dhaka recently to recognise the Top Employers of CFA Charter holders of the country for the first time, says a press release.
The CFA Institute is the global association of investment professionals that sets the highest standards of ethics, education, and professional excellence.
The event was aimed at showing appreciation to the top employers for providing not only great career opportunities but also outstanding work culture for CFA Charter holders in Bangladesh.
This year, a total of 10 employers received the award. The recipients are Bangladesh Bank, BRAC Bank Ltd., EDGE AMC Ltd, HSBC Bangladesh, IDLC Finance Ltd., International Finance Corporation (IFC), Shanta Capital Market, Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh, The World Bank and UCB Bank PLC.
Shaheen Iqbal, President of CFA Society Bangladesh, handed over the awards to the top employers.
Two panel discussion sessions were also held during the event.
The CFA Society also held a Career Fair at the same venue on the day. The fair received an overwhelming response. The corporate participants in the fair included BRAC Bank, BRAC EPL Stock Brokerage Limited, CAL Bangladesh, City Bank Capital Resources Ltd., Dhaka Bank Limited, IDLC Finance Limited, Lankabangla Securities Ltd., Light Castle Partners, NDB Capital Limited, Shanta Securities Limited and UCB Stock Brokerage Limited.
