Harsh C. Mariwala, Chairman of Marico Bangladesh Ltd, is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka today (Friday) on a 4-days visit. During his stay, Harsh, the President of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) will meet FBCCI President, SAARC Chamber President and also with different ministers of Government of Bangladesh to discuss Bilateral Trade and potentials of Indo Bangladesh trade ties. Harsh was awarded the Ernst & Young 'Entrepreneur of the Year Award' 2009 in the Manufacturing category. Under Harsh's leadership, Marico has achieved several other recognitions such as the "Best in Class" Award(second highest) for the Large manufacturing category by the Asia Pacific Quality Organization, Talent Management Award at the CNBC TV18 India Business Leader Awards 2009, NDTV Profit Business Leadership Award 2009 for Best Business Leadership in the FMCG (Personal Hygiene) category. Over the last 3 decades, Harsh Mariwala has transformed a traditional commodity driven business into a leading Consumer Products & Services Company, in the Beauty and Wellness space.
