Chandan Sarkar family members meet PM

The family members of Chandan Kumar Sarkar, the slain senior lawyer of Narayanganj, met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
They were seen entering her official residence, Ganabhaban in city in a car around 6:30pm Sunday. They came out around 8.00 pm, according to a news agency.
The meeting took place after the High Court ordered arrest of the three former RAB officers who allegedly were involved in the abduction and murder of seven people including Sarkar.
The family while deposing before the government’s investigation committee Saturday had demanded arrest of the three officers. They claimed these officials had played major role in killing the seven.
On Sunday, the court issued the order after hearing a writ petition filed by Sarkar’s son-in-law Bijay Kumar Pal and two others.
