Chapa Rani killer to hang

Debashish Saha Rony, the stalker who crushed a woman with his motorbike for protesting her daughter's abuse at Faridpur, has been sentenced to death. Chapa Rani Bhowmik, 48, a female worker of Faridpur Sugar Mill, was brutally killed at Madhukhali Upazila on October 26, 2010. The poor woman died on way to hospital. Faridpur District and Sessions Judge Md Anwarul Haque awarded death sentence to Rony on Monday. Rony, aged 24 at the time of the murder, was arrested by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) from Jhenidah district on October 31 that year. according to bdnews24.com.
