Charge framing in Kibria killing case deferred again

SYLHET, Aug 25: A Sylhet court deferred on Tuesday the charge framing in the SAMS Kibria case again.
The Sylhet  Speedy Trial Tribunal judge Mokbul Ahsan passed the order and  set September 9 as next date for the charge framing since the accused, including former State Minister for Home Lutfozzaman Babar, Huji, Bangladesh kingpin Mufti Abdul Hannan and the suspended Sylhet City Corporation (SCC) mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury could not be produced before the court.
However, Habiganj pourashava mayor GK Gaus and 4 others were present at the court.The tribunal judge also asked the jail authority to produce all the accused on the next date, said special public prosecutor Kishore Kumar Kar.
