Charge hearing deferred until June 16

A Dhaka court here Thursday deferred until June 16 the hearing on charge framing against BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and 28 others in connection with a bomb blast case, reports UNB.
Dhaka Special Tribunal-5 judge A H M Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan passed the order upon a petition submitted by the defence counsel seeking time.
Several BNP leaders, including Mirza Fakhrul, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and Amanullah Aman, appeared before the court Thursday.
Shahbagh police filed the case against BNP leader Mirza Fakhrul and others in connection with the bombings inside the secretariat during hartal hours on April 29, 2012.
DB inspector Tapash Chandra Saha submitted chargesheet against them on May 31, 2012.
