The Commission approved the charge-sheet at its regular meeting on Thursday, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told UNB over phone on Friday. ACC sources said Barrister Aminul Haque helped the Simians (a telecommunication company) get work of BTTB’s Teletalk Mobile and its network (an international tender of US$ 40 million) abusing his power when he was the Post and Telecommunication Minister.Later, the ACC investigation found that Barrister Aminul and his brother-in-law Mizanur Rahman, living in the USA, in collusion with each other took a bribe of US$ 17,08,145 from the company. On June 7, 2012, ACC deputy director Toufiqul Islam filed the case with Rama Model Police Station in this connection.
