Charges framed against five including Mridha of BR

A Chittagong court has framed charges against five people including Bangladesh Railway’s former east zone General Manager Yusuf Ali Mridha over corruption in recruitment. Chittagong Metropolitan Sessions Judge and Special Tribunal-1 Judge SM Mojibur Rahman on Wednesday also fixed Feb 24 to begin the trial. Witnesses will start to depose from that date. The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) had lodged the case at Kotwali Police Station on Sept 10, 2012, over alleged irregularities in the ‘Fuel Checker’ recruitment tests in railway’s east zone. The accused had allegedly doctored the answer sheets for candidates of their choice, acco
