Charter Review : Panel awaits copies of verdicts

The special parliamentary committee on constitution amendment will not complete its recommendations until it receives copies of the full verdicts on the seventh and 13th amendments to the constitution, its co-chair said, reports bdnews24.com. The next meeting of the panel would be held on May 26 and work on preparing proposals would continue during this time, Suranjit Sengupta said after the first meeting on the review Monday. He briefed the media on the outcome of the meeting at the Media Centre of parliament building. The special committee sat to discuss the recent Supreme Court verdicts on the fifth, seventh and 13th amendments.
