Check posts to be set up to prevent Ebola virus: Nasim

Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim has said that check post will be set up at all entry points in the country to detect Ebola virus. ‘A total of 25 team are working to detect Ebola virus infected patients and 6 scanning machines will be brought in the country to strengthen our capacity for the detection of the virus,’ he said while talking to reporters in Sirajganj town after visiting the Sadar Hospital. ‘We are closely monitoring Ebola virus as the World Health Organisation declares the fatal disease as international health emergency,’ the minister added, according to a news agency.
