Check smuggling to save economy

The new government came to power with the commitment to improve conditions in all spheres. It should prove its commitments by stopping smuggling which drains the nation's resources. Domestic industries need protection to survive the undue competition from smuggled products. Effective anti-smuggling operations can save the economy from further ruin.
BDR and RAB need to be better equipped. They also need helicopters against the smuggling rackets. The government should attend to the needs. But proper motivation would increase their resolve in stamping out the scourge of smuggling. If the other countries with bigger and easily penetrable borders, can successfully counter and limit smuggling, there can be no excuse for Bangladesh to fail.
