Chelsea, Arsenal meet seeking to rally from losses

Friday, 1 October 2010

LONDON, Sept 30 (AP): Chelsea and Arsenal meet in the English Premier League at the weekend in the uncommon position of both seeking to rebound from defeats in the previous round.
Although the London rivals rallied with midweek wins in the Champions League, both need to restore confidence in the race for the domestic title.
Defending champion Chelsea lost 1-0 to Manchester City but Arsenal's 3-2 home defeat against newly promoted West Bromwich Albion could be far more damaging to morale.
Lukasz Fabianski replaced Manuel Almunia after the goalkeeper's mistakes against West Brom and could play against Chelsea.
Fabianksi says "there was a big shock on Saturday when we lost, but I think you could see … that we had learned some things."
