Chemical Biology and DNA Research Lab opens at DU

A Chemical Biology and DNA Research Laboratory has been established at the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology (CPP) of Dhaka University (DU). DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique inaugurated the Lab as the chief guest at a function held at Pharmacy Lecture Theater on the campus. Department of CPP Chairperson Prof Farida Begum presided over the function while Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Prof Dr Nasreen Ahmad, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Prof Dr Saiful Islam and former Dean of the Faculty Prof Dr ABM Faroque addressed as special guests. It has been established under the Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) of University Grants Commission (UGC), according to BSS.
