Chhatra Union\\\'s 36th three-day confce begins today

The three-day 36th national conference of Bangladesh Chhatra Union (BCU) will begin in the city today (Saturday), reports BSS.
The conference begins with the slogan "We Will Resist Discrimination in Education, Aggression of Communalism, Imperialism and Build Bangladesh with the Spirit of Liberation War'.
Inaugural function of the three-day conference will be held at 11 am at the foot of Oporajoye Bangladesh of Dhaka University, said a press release.
Noted artist Kaiyum Chowdhury will inaugurate the conference.
A colourful rally will parade the important city streets and end in front of Shaheed Minar and a cultural function against terrorism will be held at 4 pm Raju Memorial Sculpture.
Besides, a council with participation of over 500 representatives and observers will be arranged at the Teacher-Student-Centre auditorium of Dhaka University on February 16 and 17.
In a statement, President of Chhatra Union SM Shuvo and general secretary Hasan Tareq called upon all to make the national conference a success.
