Chicago grains post strong rebound

CHICAGO, Apr 30 (Xinhua): The Chicago grains market posted a strong rebound Friday, after a deep correction in the prior day, which was seen as somewhat overdone and thus attracted funds' buying. The rainy weather in the next few weeks and continued weakness in the U.S. dollar also added to the positive tone.
The most active corn contract for July delivery hiked 27.25 cents, or 3.74 per cent, to close at 7.565 U.S. dollars per bushel. July wheat gained 23.75 cents, or 3 per cent, to 8.0125 dollars per bushel. July soybean rose 40.5 cents, or 3 per cent, to 13.94 dollars per bushel.
Market analysts said Thursday's slump was a little overdone in the grains market and thus attracted some bargain hunters to buy at the bottom, which helped support the market.
