Chicken trader hacked dead in Rajshahi

A chicken trader was stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants in Paba upazila in Rajshahi district on Sunday night. The dead is Amir Ali, 25, son of Rahat Ullah, a resident of Kadipur village in the upazila. He was a chicken trader. Police said a gang of miscreants waylaid a bicycle Amir was riding at Shitlai Baish Bigha area at about 11:00pm while he was returning home. Later, the gang stabbed Amir indiscriminately with sharp weapons, leaving him dead on the spot. Informed, police recovered the body on Monday morning and sent it to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for autopsy. A case was filed, according to UNB.
