Child dies in city wall collapse

A child student died when an under-construction wall of Fayedabad BCT Evergreen School collapsed on her Monday morning. She was a student of that school located in Dakkhinkhan area in the city, reports UNB.
Police said the victim is Rakiba (9), a kindergarten student of BCT Evergreen School. She was a daughter of Mohammad Ripon, a carpenter by profession.
"The child died on the spot as the under-construction wall collapsed on her in front of the school building while she was returning home at 10:00 am," Officer-in- Charge (OC) of Dakkhinkhan Police Station Shahmeem ar Rashid Talukdar told the news agency.
Police said the body of the teenaged has been sent to hospital for autopsy.
