Child killed, three others injured in Ctg fire

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 19: A child was killed and three members of a family were injured in a fire in the Mollapara area under Doublemooring thana in the port city this morning.
The child was identified as Mohammed Ashraful (5), son of Amir Hossain and Khaleda Akter. The injured persons are Amir Hossain (46), Khaleda Akter (30) and Tania Islam (07).
Sources said the fire originated from electric short circuit and engulfed the house of Amir Hossain at around 5 am this morning. Amir Hossain, Khaleda Akter and Tania were severely injured. Locals sent them to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH). Ashraful died on way to hospital.
