Children Academy boys, Viqarunnissa Noon girls retain titles

Children Academy (boys) and Viqarunnissa Noon School (girls) retained their respective titles of the Europa School Volleyball Tournament winning the final matches at the Dhaka Volleyball Stadium Tuesday, reports UNB.
Zahid Ahsan Russell, chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Youth and Sports Ministry, was the chief guest in the final and distributed the prizes.
Volleyball Federation president Golam Quddus Chowdhury, general secretary Ashiqur Rahman Miku and tournament committee secretary Azizur Rahman were also present.
In the boys' section final, Children Academy beat BIT in straight 2-0 sets (25/23, 25/22 points) while Viqarunnissa Noon School defeated Green Herald, also by 2-0 sets (25/10, 25/14 points) in the girls' section final.
