Children with autism need more sympathy and help

Sunday, 31 August 2014

We cannot ignore the children with autism. They deserve our immediate attention.  Raising an autistic child is a difficult job for the parents and   they often find themselves in helpless situations. Schooling for the special children is very expensive as such children need one-to-one attention.
The government should come forward and help those special children as they too have a right to live a normal life. Most of the parents don't know what to do with their children who have autism. Many parents blame themselves and feel sad and depressed. Life is very difficult for the parents of autistic children and they need help from the government so that their burden is lightened. Autism is a development disorder which greatly affects social and communication skill of a person. According to a study, one out of every hundred children has autism. It is good to see the daughter of our Prime Minister is working towards the welfare of the autistic children. I hope the non-governmental organisations (NGOs) will also come forward and help the struggling parents of the autistic children.
